Earn the patch. Wear the miles.
A patch unlocks the second its criteria are met during a session — usually when you tap LOG IT. The app fires a full-screen celebration with the real patch artwork, then drops an ADD TO RIG button that files the patch on your wall. Patches are local-first and survive offline; sync runs only if you're signed in.
A patch unlocks the second its rule is met. Most fire on LOG IT; some (like Dawn Patrol) fire on SADDLE UP.
PatchCelebrationView fills the screen with the actual patch artwork, scaled and framed. The wordmark goes amber. The phone speaks.
Tap ADD TO RIG (renamed from the generic "Continue") to file the patch on your wall. Off-road register, not iOS HIG.

Patches are organized into five categories — Milestone, Destination, Social, Seasonal, and Special — and four rarity tiers — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Rarity reflects how hard the patch is to earn, not how much it costs. Every patch is free.
